Belmont University | Belief in Something Greater
Student during Move-in Day

Welcome Week Schedule

New students will attend Welcome Week sessions from August 19th - 22nd. Welcome Week is designed to facilitate your transition to Belmont and get students connected to the Bruin community.

Students will be placed into a small group with 10-20 new students on Saturday night. This small group, known as your Towering Traditions Group (TT group), will be lead by a current upperclassmen student, also known as a Towering Traditions (TT) Leader. Your TT Leader has been trained to guide you through Welcome Week and the remainder of your first year.

New students will move onto campus on Friday, August 18th or Saturday, August 19th. You will find your assigned Residence Hall move-in day listed below. Due to the complex nature of moving 2,000 new students onto campus, all students must arrive on their assigned day and time. In mid-July, move-in day information will be sent to all new students with your move-in time.

Friday, August 18 - Patton, Bear House, Wright, and Maddox

Saturday, August 19 - Kennedy, Potter, Heron, Hail, and Pembroke

Sunday, August 20 - Hillside, Commons, Dickens, Thrailkill

Monday, August 21 - Russell and Horrell

For specific move-in information, please contact the Residence Life Office at:
